Steph & Mike may have had a petit number of guests for their intimate South of France wedding, but it featured all of the fabulous details of a grand celebration!

The couple chose a romantic French château wedding venue located in the hills of Grasse, near Cannes on the French Riviera. The ceremony took place on the grounds, with the couple standing under the aptly named Temple of Love. The warm climate made for a wonderful outdoor reception – September is really an ideal time of year for a wedding in the South of France.

Each detail was carefully thought out, with beautiful florals in a palette of pale tones of blush and pink, and an elegant long table in front of the château. The pale, ethereal feel was carried through to the wedding cake design, with delicate ricepaper flowers adorning the 2-tier confection. And just because you have a small number of guests doesn’t mean you can’t party! Guests fêted the couple with sparklers and then dancing the night away in the château’s ballroom.
